Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Market Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive market expansion strategy aligned with the company's overarching business goals and growth ambitions.
  • Market Research & Forecasting: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, forecast demand, and pinpoint new business opportunities. Present insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Business Operations Oversight: Manage the planning, execution, and evaluation of business development initiatives. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure objectives are met efficiently.
  • Customer Acquisition & Channel Growth: Actively seek out and engage with prospective clients. Expand sales channels and strategic partnerships to grow market share and enhance the company’s industry presence.
  • Commercial Negotiations & Documentation: Lead client negotiations, and prepare and finalise business proposals, contracts, and agreements in line with legal standards and internal procedures.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy Input: Monitor market dynamics and competitor activity. Offer data-driven insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team to refine business strategies.
  • Performance Reporting & Coordination: Provide regular updates on business development progress and KPIs. Collaborate closely with the operations team to align goals and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Training & Team Development: Propose and support training initiatives to improve the skills and service quality of the business development team. Review and help develop training materials and plans.
  • Executive Support: Support the General Manager with business-critical initiatives and special assignments as required, ensuring timely execution and alignment with company goals.

Executive Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Coordination & Communication. Assist the Director in coordinating communications and workflows between departments, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring seamless and timely information sharing.
  • Public Relations & External Affairs Support. Aid in managing government, industry, and international relations. Support the preparation and handling of relevant disclosures and formal communications.
  • Project Involvement & Industry Research. Participate in business meetings and negotiations. Gather and analyse market and industry data to provide well-reasoned recommendations and support strategic decisions.
  • Document Drafting & Office Communication. Draft and edit formal documents including correspondence, internal reports, presentations, and memos. Ensure high standards of clarity, tone, and accuracy.
  • Information Management & Filtering. Handle all communication channels (phone, email, fax) for the Director’s office. Prioritise and relay messages appropriately, ensuring accurate follow-up and response.
  • Visitor Management & Interpretation. Coordinate meetings with external guests and partners. Provide interpretation and translation support where required to facilitate smooth communication.
  • Diary & Travel Management. Organise the Director’s calendar, schedule meetings, and make travel arrangements. Prepare detailed itineraries and coordinate logistics for both domestic and international travel.
  • Meeting Support & Minute Taking. Organise and facilitate business meetings, take comprehensive minutes, and follow up on key actions to ensure alignment and accountability.
